If you’re looking for a new career near Angel Fire, New Mexico and you are at least 21-years-old and have earned a high school diploma or GED, you are eligible to apply to be Colfax County Sheriff’s Office newest Undersheriff. An Undersheriff, or Sergeant of the Colfax County Sheriff’s Office, provides a number of law enforcement duties under the general supervision of the Sheriff.

You will need to show physical readiness obviously. The job also requires good memory details, emotional stability and creative problem solving skills. This job will involve continuous use of motor skills too. Obviously, the job comes with hazards and risks, that should go without saying. If your application looks good, the county will require that you have a background check with no felony, DWI or domestic violence convictions. Plus you’ll have to pass a drug test.
