Enjoy Sendero del Sol And Bobcat Trails

Angel Fire might have the most beautiful trails in the nation. At least, we think so. If you’ve never hiked the Sendero del Sol and Bobcat Trails, it’s a wonderful way to spend the day. If you’re not from Angel Fire, these trails alone are incentive to move here!

The Sendero del Sol trail begins on North Angel Fire Road.  You pick it up just east of Angel Fire’s fire station. It heads north where you can spot the Angel Fire solar array soaking in the sun. Then, it turns back south across North Angel Fire Road. This is a great trail for most outdoor enthusiasts in the family, because it offers a pretty level walk right along the valley. The views are breathtaking!

Once heading south, you can then hop on Bobcat Trail. This is just south of South Angel Fire Road.  Bobcat Trail loops around and heads north again right into the village. Plus, on t his trail, you can walk right along Mountain View Boulevard to Olympic Park. If you’ve still got the energy left, from Bobcat Trail, you can reach the Greenbelt trails too!
