How Much Is Trout Fishing At Monte Verde Lake?

Monte Verde Lake Fishing Permit, Fishing Access Hours
This year, the lake is open for fishing May 1-17 (unattended). From May 18-27, the lake is open and attended Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 9am until 5pm, plus its open but unattended the rest of the week. Beginning June 1, the lake is open for fishing and attended 7am until 5pm every day. When the lake is unattended, just head up to the membership office (between 8am and 5pm all week except Sundays), to purchase your fishing permit.
Monte Verde Lake Fishing Permit Costs
The public fishing permit costs $25 for people ages 13-64. The public fishing permit costs $12.50 for seniors and children ages 7-12. Children six and younger and members fish for free. Also, instead of worrying about packing rods for the whole family, you might find it easier to just rent a fishing rod for $10.
Monte Verde Lake Rules
Please keep in mind: No alcoholic beverages allowed at Monte Verde Lake. Plus, it’s not a swimming lake. Well, not a swimming lake for people. Dogs can swim in the lake without leashes, but as soon as they’re on shore, they must be leashed.
