More Summer Fun From Angel Fire Resort
Earlier, we posted that Angel Fire Resort’s summer season started! Then, we featured more Angel Fire summer events on the schedule there. Now, let’s look at even more fun things to do in Angel Fire this summer:
Summit Disc Golf
Angel Fire Resort offers a newly designed PDGA-Approved disc golf course that is situated way atop the Agua Fria Peak. Just take the Chile Express chairlift to the 19-hole free-to-play disc golf course. The back nine is more challenging than the front nine. So, if you’re disc golfing with kids or newbies, stick with the front nine.
Movies in the Park
Angel Fire Resort is showing movies at Frontier Park on June 15th and July 6th. Both are free events. Bring your own picnic baskets, chairs, and blankets to enjoy these evenings of fun!
Stand Up Paddleboarding
You can rent stand up paddleboards at Monte Verde Lake. Monte Verde Lake is a spring-fed high mountain retreat. People head to this lake to hike fish and boat, but stand up paddleboarding is something everyone should try at least once!
