If you’re considering moving to or from the Angel Fire, New Mexico area and you have a dog, you can plan ahead to make sure that your furball is safe during the move. Moving can be stressful on dogs, but it’s also a time when too many pups go missing. They haven’t had time to adjust their internal navigation to a new location. Sights and sounds are different. Furniture that has been sitting in the same place, in the same house, on the same yard for years, is suddenly moved.
While you are moving, it’s best to find a completely closed off room that neither your helpers, nor their dog loving kiddos can open up. Sometimes, it only takes a moment for a dog to run out of their safe room and find the outside door propped open before they are lost. So, if you don’t have a safe room in which you can secure your beloved dog, you might consider boarding the animal for a day or two just to keep them absolutely secure.
There are a few options for canine boarding near Angel Fire. Check out the list below. Links to their websites have been included to safe you the Google search.
