Porch Pickup Of Recyclables In Taos?!
Did you know that recycling in Taos just got easier? Get this: A group of entrepreneurs are making recycling in Taos easier by even offering to come drive to your house and pick it up off of your porch! Previously, Taos residents who wanted to recycle had to drive their recyclables to a recycling center and put them into sorting bins.
The new service is offered by Conscious Taos and all people have to do is load up the 18 gallon bins provided and put them outside of their homes Monday through Wednesday. Conscious Taos does the rest.
Taos residents don’t even have to sort the recyclables, they only need to rinse them. The service will only cost $300 per year and a $30 start up fee. So, it’s really not much more expensive than driving to the recycle center every week, plus it saves residents the time and the hassle.
