First of all, you will want to note if the property falls under the Angel Fire Resort homeowners association. The resort property is usually south of Sage Lane. So, you will want to check first. In order to avoid fines, don’t even do site clearing until the AFPO Environmental Architectural Control Committee (EACC) and the Village of Angel Fire have approved the required documents. These two entities have separate application procedures. Sometimes, people don’t realize this. They also perform their own inspections. At first, it feels strange, but eventually it’s just old hat.
